Our map shows the park and the school. We took a trip from school to the park and looked at the different things. We really liked the fences and the signposts. By Cameron and Tony.

First we drew our school then, we drew a park with slides and lots of other stuff like birds, people, trees and dogs. We really enjoyed creating our map and adding detail. By Summer and Danielle.

My map is about our school. We based it on how to get from school to the park. I really liked drawing my map. By Louis.

First,we drew our school. Then, we drew on our map and we then we drew a park. Next, we drew some birdies, bins, trees and last but not least flowers, dogs and also people.

We have drawn our map at first and we coloured it in but only with a couple of colours. It took us time to do it. We decrated it on Thursday 11 December. We finshed it Friday 12 December. After, we did all that we put it on this website. By Elle, Aliesha and Annleigh.

Local resident Frank recounts an interesting conversation he had in George Bancroft Park, with the gardeners responsible for all the plants and landscaping.  They chat about what used to be where the park is now, and the new Climbing Wall (pictured), as well as rugby and football!
