Had some good times at the mecca, During my mod days, Tuesday evening dancing competitions in the boxing ring dancing to the likes of Otis Reading (my hero) also the highland room meeting up with the preston mods drinking double diamond talking about the one thing you had in common the mod scene and checking out who was wearing what ie mohair suits etc ,made to measure from jacksons the tailors (on the tick) church street. Also i remember we use to meet up in the talbot rd bus station on a saturday night trying to get enough money or srounge a lift off somebody in order to get a allnighter ie manchester wheel, Lots of fond memories. Could go on and on,but have to stop somewhere. KEEP THE FAITH !!!!
